The Financial Analyst assists the Controller in the analysis and accounting for both financial and operational aspects of the Company’s circulation of its advertising products.
Prepare and analyze weekly forecasts of circulation revenues, and certain production related expenses. Responsible for circulation reporting and analysis, including monthly circulation reports, publishers quarterly report and various reports required by the Alliance for Audited Media (AAM).
Responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of newsprint inventory, inventory accounting, monitoring prices, and coordinating shipping and receiving of newsprint. Also maintains The Salt Lake Tribune general ledger, reconciles all accounts, ensures proper coding of expenses, prepares month financial reports, and assists in budget preparation.
